The preggo returns

I know I haven't written lately, but every time I try to compose something, it mostly feels like I am whining about the uncomfortableness that is pregnancy.  But, then again, maybe I just need to get it all out, right?

I cannot believe how many ways being pregnant affects your body.  I mean, I knew about the weight gain, the hormones, and the frequent peeing, but that is just the tip of the iceberg!

Who knew...
that my eyesight would be blurry
my feet and ankles would swell up like balloons
a sneeze could make me pee my pants
I would become a klutz
...and forgetful
Sleeping on my side could be so painful
My skin would grow weird bumps
That a 3 pound baby could pinch so many nerves

However, I do love to feel her moving inside me, even when it tickles, pinches, or downright hurts.  She is a part of me in a way that she will never be again.  It is pretty cool.  Although, I'm hoping that selective amnesia that I have been told by Moms in the know will kick in after she comes, or she may just be an only child!

You look sooooo adorable!!! I love it! I feel you sister! I'm not to that point yet, but I hate sleeping on my side, nothing fits me anymore and all my clothes are uncomfortable, and I forget everything (like when the doctor told me at my ultrasound how much my baby weighted, I can't remember!). I'm so excited for her to get here - December is just around the corner!!

I'm excited how many of you in the ward are blogging. It is kind of an addiction for me. I will always let you know I was here.

Oh Tammy, just be glad you didn't get Depression while pregnant, carpel tunnel, a sore tail bone when you sit, constipation, sick to your stomach when you don't eat all day. Have you started having to go to the bathroom every hour yet? Those are just some that I have had to experience this time and previously, that you hadn't mentioned yet!! Isn't being pregnant fun! The best part is though at the end - the best gift you get! It really does make it all worth it!

Carpal tunnel... ahhhh.. so that's why my hands alternately feel like they are numb or on fire. It all makes sense now.

I do have to say that my pains are nothing compared to those of you who have to go through all this with children already in the house. At least I only need to take care of me (and Spencer, but he is pretty low maintenance, I just throw a burrito in front of him every once in a while and he is fine).
